The Mysterious Lore & More Walking Tour takes you deep into the heart of Boothbay Harbor’s long and mysterious history! This walk through the town center is a wonderous combination of Boothbay Harbor’s hidden history, local lore, and unsolved mysteries that will leave you ruminating long after your tour has ended. Your entertaining local guide gives you a lay of the land and all the inside scoop on the harbor’s most mysterious unsolved death, Boothbay Harbor’s very own sea serpent, legendary tales surrounding many of the harbor’s islands, and how two rock stars saved the Boothbay Opera House from becoming a parking lot.

Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a FULL refund. We ask for 24 hours’ notice so that we can open up the tour to other people who want to ride. We will cancel tours if there are dangerous weather conditions.

Restrictions
This tour involves a half mile of walking and standing on sometimes hilly and uneven terrain and may not be suitable for people with impaired mobility.
