Art & Wine Walk
The Art & Wine Walk combines local art with fine wine – a perfect pairing. We’ll stroll through town and spend time with artists in five galleries before heading to The Pearl wine bar, featuring sommelier extraordinaire, Mark Guerin, who offers a curated wine selection and unique menu. We’re visiting Gleason Fine Art, consistently voted “Best Art Gallery in Maine.” featuring paintings and sculpture. We’ll stroll through the waterfront sculpture garden at Studio 53 Fine Art Gallery. We’ll visit Black River Gallery featuring local photography and paintings and Ed Brown’s Wharfside Gallery featuring original watercolors and local photography.

Mine Oyster’s wine bar, the Pearl, offers a unique menu, a curated wine selection, and a state-of-the-art wine preservation and dispensation system so you may enjoy reserve wines of the highest possible quality. White and red wine flights offer 1 oz. tastes of all four reserve wines. Sommelier Mark Guerin is a Certified Specialist of Wine. He has separate certifications for French/Italian/Spanish, Napa Valley and Australian wines. He’s also developed three award-winning wine lists.

What to expect: Fun and easy stroll along winding paved sidewalks throughout the village center.
Starting Location: Gleason’s Fine Art Gallery. Parking available in 12 Granary Way public lot.
Ending Location: The Pearl Wine Bar at Mine Oyster, Pier 1.
Schedule: Monday and Wednesday afternoons at 3:00.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
Please bring: Sunglasses, sunscreen, phone/camera, rain jacket/light layers (if needed).

Cancellations:
- Cancel up to 48 hours in advance for a FULL refund. We ask for 48-hour notice so that we may open up the tour to other people who want to walk.
- We will cancel tours if there are dangerous weather conditions, but we will ride if there is a chance of inclement weather.
- For cancellations due to inclement weather, we will issue a 100% refund or allow you to reschedule for another time that works for you. In the case of bad weather, our guide will contact you at least one hour before the start time to discuss your options.
- If there is light rain in the forecast but none at the start of the tour, we will decide together at the time of the tour whether to walk.
